This semester I took beginning
photography to help me gain useful skills that I can apply to my yearbook class. Not
only did I learn skills for taking photos but I ended up learning how to create
much more with my photos in photoshop.
My favorite thing I learned from this class
was how to adjust photos. This helped the coloring and brightness in my photos look
nicer and it is also my favorite thing because I use this skill almost every
day in yearbook. Another favorite skill that I use now is how to take many
shots at once and how to stop action in my photos. These skills are very useful for
when I attend sporting events and take pictures.
Before this class I had never
used photoshop. I still have a lot to learn in photoshop because but it helps me view my pictures better, crop pictures, and adjust
colors and brightness. In photoshop I have also made, Christmas cards, business
cards, bookmarks, and many more but my favorite use for photoshop would be
editing my photos.
I cannot wait to use my many skills
I have gained through this class and use them in my yearbook class. This
has also been one of my favorite classes because it is one of the few classes where I can see myself using the skills I have learned within the
upcoming years. I hope to continue to use and improve my photography skills
with the future media classes I will be taking.
