What have I learned this semester?

This semester I took beginning photography to help me gain useful skills that I can apply to my yearbook class. Not only did I learn skills for taking photos but I ended up learning how to create much more with my photos in photoshop.
My favorite thing I learned from this class was how to adjust photos. This helped the coloring and brightness in my photos look nicer and it is also my favorite thing because I use this skill almost every day in yearbook. Another favorite skill that I use now is how to take many shots at once and how to stop action in my photos. These skills are very useful for when I attend sporting events and take pictures.
Before this class I had never used photoshop. I still have a lot to learn in photoshop because but it helps me view my pictures better, crop pictures, and adjust colors and brightness. In photoshop I have also made, Christmas cards, business cards, bookmarks, and many more but my favorite use for photoshop would be editing my photos.
I cannot wait to use my many skills I have gained through this class and use them in my yearbook class. This has also been one of my favorite classes because it is one of the few classes where I can see myself using the skills I have learned within the upcoming years. I hope to continue to use and improve my photography skills with the future media classes I will be taking.

Photoshop Collage

In my photoshop collage there are nine thing I love. The first one is my sister, I love her because she is my sister and my best friend. The next one is my Dad, I love him because we are really close and he is the best Dad anyone could ask for. The third thing I love is my mom, because she is always there to help me with something and unlike a lot of teenagers and their Mom's, we have an fantastic relationship. Another thing I love in the collage are my friends, Karsen and Michelle because they always have my back. The fifth thing I love the cross country team. I may be out for the season, but I go to every meet and they are like my second family. In the top right corner I put books. I love books because it give me something to do when I am bored. The seventh thing I love are my running shoes. If I am not dressing up for something, I always have them on. My car is the eighth thing I love because it takes me to school every day. The last picture I put on my photoshop collage was a boy. The boy's name is Cobb and he is a regular customer at The Wax House ran by Karsen McCarter.
